Pedagogical Experience as an Importatnt Constituent Part of Teacher Professional Training - Impulses for the Didactics of Social Sciences

The aim of this article is to bring some reflections on contemporary conditions of pedagogical practices being done by students within their teacher professional training. Besides a brief theoretical introduction there are also some perceptions included from the analysis of pedagogical continuous practice of students studying Social Sciences and Civics oriented at education at The Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice aimed for teaching at secondary schools and upper primary schools (it contains 160 evaluations of practice in the course of last four academic years 2012-2016).

The Key Competencies Development within the Personal and Social Education

This article deals with the topic of key competences development within the personal and social education at elementary school. The attention is paid to potentially new topic which should be included within the Frame Educational Programme in the Czech Republic as the one of the goals of education policy of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports - the entrepreneurial education. The experiences with the entrepreneurial education topic at Faculty of Education at Palacky University in Olomouc are described.

Historical Feature Films Analysis Examples for Teaching History Lessons

Historical feature film is a very popular medium. Young people get information about history from this source and still more teachers of history are included this medium into teaching. They should follow rules when working with the source. Including historical feature film in history lessons should be based on detailed analysis of this media. The article presents free methods of this analysis: pedagogical content analysis, content and formal analysis and analysis of movie language.

Film in Education of Contemporary History

The paper deals with the use of film material in the teaching of contemporary history. It focuses on its benefits, but it also draws attention to possible pitfalls. Based on the case study (example němckých-Czech relations after 1945) proposes films that after previous careful selection and didactic presentation, help teachers effectively fulfill the educational goals of contemporary history.

The article deals with the issue of toleration, as well as respect for man and humanity-anthropocentric features in European thinking; it refers to its most prominent moments and practical demonstrations in the history of Europe. In relation to the present-day situation of the human, it demonstrates that toleration and tolerance are just as topical today as they were in the past and that toleration can only function if based on a symmetrical relationship, i.e. a relationship based on mutual respect. To understand the above mentioned principles is one of the main task of philosophy.

Comparison of the EU Funds for Cross-Border Co-operation of Schools in All Czech-Polish Euroregions

Article compares the ways in which the cross-border co-operation between schools is conducted in all six Euroregions on Czech-Polish borders. The main research methods were based on analysis of the microprojects, which were implemented in these euroregions. Research surprisingly declined initial hypothesis expecting the most frequent use of INTERREG funds in cross-border co-operation of schools in the Euroregion Těšín/Cieszyn Silesia, due to the historical links between both parts of the Euroregion and almost non-existing language barrier.
