This article deals with populism in its various forms and how the Czech academic public perceives this phenomenon. The research, based on a questionnaire survey and content analysis of final theses’, shows which approaches (ideological, political-strategic, discursive...) to populism are most common in the Czech Republic, which topics are most often dealt with by analysts and students, or which authors are considered the most credible in the Czech Republic in relation to the study of populism. The presented text informs the reader about the findings of a study conducted on classroom observation records, acquired by students in the first year of their follow-up master's studies at the Palacký University's Faculty of Education in Olomouc during obligatory student practicum in the academic year 2022/23. By employing predominantly qualitative methods, focusing particularly on content analysis of records, we pinpoint areas of weakness in teacher training. The text deals with the development of social democracy in the context of Central Moravia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, which was one of the most important regions in the Czech lands in terms of the development of civil society and political partisanship. Attention is paid to the development of social democracy itself and its regional structures, including the party's efforts to strengthen its position and influence by participating in elections. Finally, the possibilities of applying the topic in the curriculum are briefly and summarily discussed.

This article examines the formulation and implementation of rules for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the teaching of social science subjects at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (FSV UK). In the context of the increasing use of AI tools, such as ChatGPT, by both students and teachers, it is important to understand how these rules are formulated and applied.
