This text deals with the growing technological conditionality of teaching, which has been significantly accelerated by the reduction or complete abolition of so-called contact teaching during measures introduced against the spread of coronavirus in the first half of 2020. It perceives teaching as a mediated process, in which, with the growing share of technology involvement, remediation is taking place, namely from its original form, when it was mediated mainly at the social level, to the current stage, when, on the contrary, the share of its mediation at the technological level increases even to the absolute stage, which occurred during the elimination of so-called contact teaching. The social dimension of teaching was also transferred to the technological dimension, which made it technologically conditioned with accompanying consequences, that also included the impossibility of educating pupils or students not equipped with the necessary technological devices.
