This study focuses on the possibilities of using the Velvet Revolution in the didactic process, with special attention to the events in 1989 at the level of Czech towns and districts. The archives and library collections that are currently available are described in more detail. It also indicates organizational provision of project teaching on the Velvet Revolution at local level in the pedagogical process at secondary schools.
