The text shows political context of representative bodies functioning of student autonomy. It deals with connection between coordination of school parliament's activity and political theories concerning democratic forms, relationship between the citizen and elective representation. The theoretical part of the article is confronted with the real student parliament of the grammar school in Uničov. Research questions focus on motivation and student self-assessment in this representative body.
