This article presents the findings of a quantitative questionnaire survey conducted as part of a doctoral research project focused on the use of oral history in teaching the modern history of Czechoslovakia in the second half of the twentieth century. The study draws on data collected from 308 in-service history teachers at primary and secondary schools and 108 pre-service history teachers enrolled in teacher education programmes.
