In the contribution, we present the possibilities of integrating the artistic narrative Mr. Theodor Mundstock by Ladislav Fuks into the crosscutting theme of the Education of a Democratic Citizen. In our opinion, the amendment is an excellent text that can be used especially within the subtopic Citizen, civil society, and the state. Thanks to the main theme of the amendment, i.e. the preparation of Mundstock for departure to the concentration camp, the narrative is also suitable for the implementation of the issue of minorities and their position in democratic and non-democratic societies. We apply the theoretical concepts presented in the article to specific worksheets that are part of the appendix.
