AB  - This article deals with populism in its various forms and how the Czech academic public perceives this phenomenon. The research, based on a questionnaire survey and content analysis of final theses', shows which approaches (ideological, political-strategic, discursive...) to populism are most common in the Czech Republic, which topics are most often dealt with by analysts and students, or which authors are considered the most credible in the Czech Republic in relation to the study of populism. Examples of good practice for teaching about populism are also included
