AB The present article defines the historical aspects of the development of social pedagogy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and aims at using legal documents to compare the legal status of social educator in the Czech and Slovak education system in relation to the possibilities of graduate education in the social context of social counseling at schools with regard to different concept conception counselling activities in the compared countries.
